My name is Caroline, I go by my artist name Carritube or just Carri for short. I’m a Multimedia Artist that covers anything art-related in the tech space on the web. I help other creatives navigate all aspects of digital art on my YouTube channel & blog under my artist name “Carritube”.

I help artists of all kinds by reviewing industry tools, apps, alternatives & more. I also run my own stationery business that bridges nostalgic video game & anime culture with relatable apparel & keychains. On top of offering video production and design services to other small businesses & individuals.

Current Occupation

I’m currently a freelancer and animation student by day. I run an art tech youtube channel in the evenings and night. I created this website as my home-based to show off all the great projects I had hands with as well as my gateway talk about design, technology, animation etc.

A bit on my professional background

I am a freelance Multimedia Artist based in Atlanta, Georgia. Jack of all trades designer that specialize in all aspects of short form sharable social media content for brands in the art and tech space.

I’m a designer at heart that fell IN LOVE with VIDEO! I’ve been creating awesome works in the Adobe suite since I was 14, experienced in both corporate 9-5 office environments and on the Art Influencer end.

I’m fluent in video marketing and understand brand language. Meaning I can follow any brand guidelines to effectively make engaging content in a brands image and voice. I do this extremely well through my vast video production experience, strong design skills and SEO knowledge

But beyond that....

I love to create, my hands cannot relax when I am not creating something. I’m an artist in my free time by creating digital arts of cute anime girls or Pokemon. I help others navigate the tech space as well by reviewing new hardware and software on my Youtube channel and Blog. A passion project of mine is to create my own animated series.

I went into graphic design very young age because I did not want to be a starving artist. I ended up liking it a lot and the skills I learned from it took me very far.

Why Carritube?

Carritube is my brand/alias for myself, under it I’ve been freelancing for more than 5 years doing logo, branding, websites, etc.  On top of the freelancing gig, Carritube has evolved more to show my journey as an artist and help others along the way through Youtube videos and blog post here on Carritube.com. I started my freelance side business during high school around the same time I started my Youtube channel.

Carritube was the artist name that an old friend helped me brainstormed back then, I had so many other silly usernames that would not work as my brand name. I wanted to be known by an artist name in the professional world instead of my given full name which would eventually change when I get married, so Carritube just stuck and worked so much better once I upgraded my logo from just my initials to a cat TV. Which better represented my love and passion for animation which is my ultimate end goal.

How it all started

I was born in Haiti in the capital Port-au-Prince in a sub-city called Carrefour. I came to the United States when I was 8 years old. I started doing freelance graphic design since I was 15 years old. I graduated from a technical college that was also a high school with my diploma and a certificate in Web design. I also have my associates in arts in graphic arts. I’m currently in college aiming to get another associate’s degree in animation.

I’m a certified web developer and its my passion for it that led to this website. I was very active in high school with clubs such as yearbook, robotics and business professionals of america, which gives you a bit more insight of how passionate I am about tech, entrepreneurship and design etc.

I’m a girl whose super passionate about art, animation and tech. I hope to make my mark on the whole with all of that. That’s all I can think of, I hope this provided you some insight on who I am, whether your a friend/colleague, a viewer, an employer, college adviser, etc. This is my little corner of the internet, hope you have a wonderful day evening!
